The Syracuse University Wellness Initiative provides learning opportunities, activities, programs, and other resources needed to empower and encourage Syracuse University faculty and staff to make choices and changes that lead to a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

There are a variety of ways for faculty and staff to be their healthiest, best self on the Syracuse University campus. Whether you are looking for ways to move more, eat well or stress less and recharge, there are plenty of resources and options for you!

The Barnes Center at the Arch features programs, services and offerings that promote holistic health and well-being, all in one accessible, centralized space on campus. Faculty and staff can use several of these services and offerings and have multiple resources available to them.

The Couple and Family Therapy Center offers no cost, confidential therapy services to families, couples, and individuals who are coping with life’s challenges.

Office ergonomics is about creating a work environment that minimizes your pain, discomfort, and risk of injury on the job. Proper ergonomics will help you increase productivity and job satisfaction, as well as make your body feel great!

Tobacco-Free Campus Policy

To help ensure a healthy, productive, respectful environment in which to work, learn and live, Syracuse University is committed to providing a smoke- and tobacco-free campus. This policy prohibits smoking and the use of all tobacco products on property owned, operated, or controlled by the University, indoors and out. It applies to all University students, staff, and faculty, as well as all alumni, volunteers, visitors, contractors and vendors.
