A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :

Sustainability (and more specifically, zero waste & environmental justice) is a major theme of New Student Orientation, which is programming offered to both first-year and transfer students. There are multiple events throughout the almost full week of Orientation, but the very first night has a required evening session dedicated to a sustainability talk & exercises.
