Swarthmore's 425-acre arboretum campus is located just 11 miles southwest of Philadelphia. The Crum Woods are adjacent to the main academic and residental areas of campus and offer around 3.5 miles of walking trails over more than two hundred acres of wooded land. The Crum Woods is significant not only for its large area and biodiversity, but also for the opportunities it offers for learning and recreation.
