Extensive application process that parallels the selection process for RAs. Students apply mid-spring through an essay based application. They need letters of recommendation. Each candidate is Interviewed. All GAs participate in a week long pre- freshmen orientation training. All GAs are placed residentially.

Have a week of training prior to orientation. GAs have meetings and trainings throughout the year.
