The SU SGA Green Fund is a way for students around campus to find funding for their sustainability project ideas. The green fund is funded through an allocation from the SU Student Government. Any student who has an idea for a project that deals with sustainability on campus (or in the local community) may submit an application to receive funding.


A brief description of the multi-stakeholder decision-making process used to determine which projects receive funding through the sustainability projects fund:

The green fund application is accessible from the sustainability web page. All completed applications are received by the Office of Sustainability who reviews the applications for appropriateness and relevancy. All applications that meet that threshold are forwarded to the student government executive board. The SGA executive board are all elected positions by thee student body. The executive board votes on approving the applications and how much funding they will allocate to each request.
