Does the institution host a food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource focused on alleviating food insecurity, hunger and poverty among students?:
Yes

A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:
SU opened its food pantry in early 2020. The food pantry is located within Weber Chapel and accessible to all students during the building hours of Weber Chapel (roughly 6 am to 10 pm). The food pantry is funded through Student Life's Student Care Fund. The pantry is stocked with non-perishable food items such as dried goods, canned goods, ready to make meals, and offers basic hygiene products as well. A dry erase board within the food pantry is available for students to write requests. The Chaplain's Office oversees the pantry to ensure it stays stocked. Not only is the pantry open during the academic year, it is open during the summer and during breaks to ensure students can access food when they need it.
