Narrative outlining the data collection process used in the preparation of this report:
The STARS lead personnel reviewed the criteria and identified areas across campus that they felt could provide the data in each credit. Each person received a letter from the President requesting they participate in the STARS process. An initial meeting was held, and a presentation was given using the suggested power point in the resources tab.
After the initial meeting, each participant received a specific email about their credit and the technical manual section pertaining to their credit(s) were attached. They were asked to respond by one of the following:
- providing the information.
- stating the credit was not attainable and/or data not available.
- Suggest another individual/department that could provide the information.
Once the information was received, the individuals leading the process reviewed and entered the information with a few exceptions where the person gathering the information also entered the information.

The technical manual sections pertaining to each credit were sent to each participant. This explained the information needed and how to gather it. They were asked to use Fall 2023 data for enrollment and FY 23-24 (7/1/2023-6/30/2024) as the base year for any data.
We relied on the participant to provide the data as they were the expert. Most credits had supporting documentation that were URL links and/or attached documents. Any calculations provided were reviewed where possible.
