Committee for Campus Safety and Community Policing. This committee reviews current campus policies and procedures for compliance and make recommendations for the improvement related to:
- educating the campus community, abotu sexual assuat, personal safety and crime prevents,
- reporting sexual assualts and interactings with victims during investigations,
- referring complaints to appropriate authortieis,
- counseling victims and responding to inquiries from concerned persons.
This group will also represent the Buffalo Sate community in creating, evaluating, and implementing a community-orientated policy designed to create an environment focused on crime prevention, problem solving and education.
the committee will consist of students, staff and Dean of Students as Chair.

We have a Back on Track grant that students can access with documentation that will provide them emergency funds. This is a one time program and is funded by the Office of Institutional Advancement.

The Chemical Biological Safety committee convenes each quarter to review and update the universities Chemical Hygiene plan. The committee also reviews: the eyewash/safety shower program, Laboratory Safety Inspection process, Fume Hood program, Hazardous Waste program, Right-to-Know / Hazard Communication program and Incident and Accident Reports. There is also an open forum discussion on Chemical Safety and Biological Safety; as well as reviewing protocols for each department.
The Radiation Committee meets quarterly to meet the regulatory requirements of the universities Radioactive Materials License 1052. The committee discusses RAM and X-Ray Producing Equipment use on campus, ALARA review, sealed source leak testing, radioactive waste disposal, equipment calibrations and meter operations, and reviews the RAM/X-ray user manuals.
