The Continuing Professional Studies office facilitates a program in partnership with the Erie County Sheriff’s Office and Peaceprints of WNY called Training in Hospitality for Returning Individuals are Valued Employees (THRIVE).  THRIVE works with those currently incarcerated to teach both professional and culinary skills.  Upon release, participants are connected to participating employers who have agreed to interview any graduates of the program.  This program relates to the sustainability-challenge areas of racial equity and social justice.
