The Sustainability courses were chosen based on the subject matter in addressing economic, social and environmental sustainability. If the course satisfied two (2) to three (3) criteria, it was designated as a sustainability focused course. Those courses which satisfied one (1) of the criteria below were designated as sustainability related only if the subject material addressed a critical sustainability challenge; such as pollution, renewable energy, climate change, ocean and marine sustainability.
