If the course satisfied two (2) to three (3) criteria, it was designated as a sustainability focused course. Those courses which satisfied one (1) of the criteria below were designated as sustainability related only if the subject material addressed a critical sustainability challenge; such as pollution, renewable energy, climate change, ocean and marine sustainability.
