Facilities Management at Stonehill College is committed to using green cleaning products wherever feasible. Building Services management staff review and test green products that can replace non-green products. Once suitable replacements are found, they are implemented campus wide.

A brief description of steps the institution has taken to ensure that the purchasing policy, directives, or guidelines are followed:
All cleaning and janitorial supply purchases are made by Building Services management staff. Currently about 90% of all daily cleaning is done with EcoLogo green products. Currently about 50% of our project cleaning is done with EcoLogo green products. This Year we canceled our contract for cleaning of dry mops. These are now done in-house along with mops, rags and buffing pads. The cleaning products in the washing machine are green certified.
