Has the institution been formally recognized for leadership in diversity, equity, and/or inclusion during the previous three years by a national or international program? :
Yes
A brief description of the diversity, equity, and/or inclusion recognition:
From 2019 through December 2022, Stevens received Bronze-level recognition for the American Society for Engineering Education’s Diversity Recognition Program. Unfortunately, Stevens failed to complete the Bronze Reaffirmation application process between September 1 and November 1, 2022. Nonetheless, for the majority of this reporting period (March 2020-December 2022), Stevens was a Bronze school.
The American Society for Engineering Education created the Diversity Recognition Program “to publicly recognize those engineering and engineering technology colleges that make significant, measurable progress in increasing the diversity, inclusion, and degree attainment outcomes of their programs.”
