The following excerpt was taken from the contract between Stevens Institute of Technology and their landscaping services provider: "INSECT CONTROL: All shrubs will be treated with a dormant oil spray prior to bud break on an as need basis. On-site personnel will perform shrub insect and disease identification on a routine basis as part of our regular IPM program. A contact insecticide will be applied as needed to treat any active insects."
