The Hoboken Green Team is a volunteer based organization sponsored by the Hoboken Mayor's Office. As members, Stevens Institute of Technology participates in monthly meetings tackling green issues within the city, such as promoting composting, plastic bag recycling, and green fairs. The Stevens representative to the Green Team acts as the liaison between the institution and the Green Team, providing coordination between the student body and the City of Hoboken.
