A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the course inventory:

Stevens made a serious commitment to establish a nationally benchmarked sustainability profile through the AASHE STARS Program this year. Bob Maffia, the VP of Facilities & Operations, is leading the effort and has engaged a consulting firm, Gotham 360 LLC, with experience in this to assist the Institute in developing the profile. This involves a significant information collection activity from different deans and people that work for the institution. Gotham 360 initially contacted Keith Sheppard for information regarding academic courses within the School of Engineering Studies and the College of Arts and Letters. After contacting the provost, the company also reached out to the Deans of the School of Systems & Enterprises and Howe Center of Technology Management. SES and CAL both had courses that were considered sustainability courses, SSE and STM did not. Taking the course descriptions, Gotham 360 have reached out to the Registrar to create the sustainability course listing.
