A brief description of the institution’s wellness and/or employee assistance program(s):
Stetson University offers a comprehensive wellness program known as MotivateMe through our health insurance provider Cigna. The plan provides incentives to employees via gift cards for completing tasks that contribute to their wellbeing such as completing health assessments, going for annual physicals, getting recommending cancer screenings, meeting with health coaches, and participating in health activities such as going to the gym, fitness classes, or participating in intermural or rec league sports. Employees and their spouses who are on our health plan can earn up to $300 individually per year.
We also partner with the Student Wellness and Recreation department to offer wellness programming throughout the year. Wellness and Recreation puts on a program 4 times a year called BetterU that rewards employees for eating well, exercising, and getting proper sleep. Employees earn points for healthy activities, and those who earn above certain point thresholds earn rewards.
Additionally, Stetson offers an employee assistance program through Cigna to all full-time employees. Information on the EAP can be found on our benefits page at www.stetson.edu/other/benefits/ under the EAP drop down.
