Yes
A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution:
The Alliance for International Reforestation was founded at Stetson by Dr. Anne Hallum in 1993. Since then AIR has hosted 40 Stetson students in highland Guatemala for an average of 4 weeks each June (apart from the recent break due to COVID). The organization plans to resume sending student in the summer of 2024. Participating Stetson students travel free of charge through a grant. This NGO has planted over 7.6 million trees as of February, 2023. Five Stetson alumni of those internships now serve on AIR's Board of Directors and are closely involved with decision-making for AIR's expanding reforestation efforts.
