A brief description of the program:
Over the past few years, Stetson has partnered with different community agencies (most recently the Neighborhood Center) to collect and donate any unwanted items at the end of the academic year. Example of items gathered: furniture (futons, desk chairs, etc.), small electronics (dvd players, clocks, lamps), books, clothes, and even food (non-perishable canned/boxed goods). The program has had mixed results over the past few years with varying collection amounts, as it is very dependent on having consistent student leadership to help make it work well.
