A brief description of the technology used:
Stetson University employs vending machine mizers. The mizers reduce energy use by only turning the vending machine light on when motion is sensed. The mizers further the energy savings by regulating the compressor so it does not run constantly. With the mizer, the compressor will only run when needed.
