OP-T2-14: Lighting Sensors
Associate Vice President, Facilities Department
Does the institution use motion, infrared, and/or light sensors to reduce energy use for lighting in at least one building?:
A brief description of the technology used:
Lighting sensors are installed in classrooms and major auditoriums within Lynn Business Center as well as Rinker Environmental Learning Center. The sensors are located near the entrance to each room. An override is provided to turn the lights on or off. Stetson University is planning to install more lighting sensors throughout campus.
