The Sterling College campus is compliant with Vermont's law S.150 - An act relating to miscellaneous amendments to laws related to motor vehicles, a bill passed by the legislature, which includes the provision: prohibited idling of motor vehicles. The law became effective May 5, 2014; it limits the idling of all motor vehicles while parked to five minutes in any 60 minute period, with exceptions.
