A storage area and repair facility exist below the Madison Dorm building for cyclists. Shower facilities exist in this building, too. Lockers do not exist. Simpson Hall also provides a multi-purpose room for bicycle storage.
Does the institution provide short-term bicycle parking for all occupied buildings and makes long-term bicycle storage available for students who live on-site (if applicable)?:

Sterling has bike racks located near every major buildings, many of which include bikes through our Green Bikes Program.

The 2016 Town Plan states that "Craftsbury is a walkable, bikeable community that is not too dominated by cars. Road travel is safe and slow through town and roads are safe for horseback riders and bikers."
Additionally, the Town Plan states: "The roads in Craftsbury offer a variety of on-road and backroad cycling adventures. The Town recognizes the importance of biking in the area. The Town has resources for bike rentals and tours. In fact, a bicycle loop trail has been mapped by the “Cycling in the Kingdom” pamphlet which includes a 10.9 mile loop called the “Craftsbury Classic.” A much longer on-road loop, starting from Hardwick, passes through Craftsbury along Route 14. Additionally a trail published in the Backroads Cycling Guide covers East Craftsbury Road, Ketchum Hill, Creek, and King Farm Roads, crosses the intersection of Town Highway 7 and Mill Village Road, near the Outdoor Center on Big Hosmer, and continues up Wylie Hill Road and finally leaves Craftsbury from Route 14 into Albany."

The Green Bikes Program at Sterling College employs two students through the Federal Work Program. These students maintain and repair and purchase new bicycles for students, faculty, and staff to utilize on campus. These bicycles are available at every bicycle rack for use.

Sterling College tries very hard to assist employees new to the area to secure housing within Craftsbury Common. They work with local landlords and realtors to make sure employees can live close to campus.
