Criteria
Institution uses stormwater modeling to assess the impact of LID practices and green infrastructure on campus.
To calculate the impact of green infrastructure, institutions should reference the definitions and methodologies defined by the U.S. EPA in its Technical Guidance on Implementing the Stormwater Runoff Requirements for Federal Projects under Section 438 of the Energy Independence and Security Act or local equivalents and may also use:

Other stormwater modeling tools or calculators (e.g. as listed by the U.S. EPA).
Applicability
This credit is optional and may be earned by any institution.
Scoring
Institutions earn 0.5 Innovation & Leadership (IN) points for this credit up to a maximum of 4 points for the IN category. An institution’s overall, percentage-based STARS score is increased by the number of IN points it earns

Report initiatives and results from within the three years to the anticipated date of submission.
