SUNY Poly has a Stormwater Management plan that involves draining the excess rainwater into 2 Stormwater Detention Ponds instead of draining the water into sewage drains. Each building also has its own Stormwater Management plan. Each SUNY Poly building has complied with NY State DEC SWPPP regulations (Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan).
