A brief description of the institution’s wellness and/or employee assistance program(s):
The Health and Wellness Center, located in Oriskany Hall, Suite B, provides evaluation and treatment of health-related problems for full and part-time students. The Health and Wellness Center is staffed by physician, nurse practitioner, registered nurses, health educator and support personnel. There are regularly scheduled hours for physician visits. Routine GYN exams are available by appointment only. The Health and Wellness Center is open daily Monday through Friday with the hours of service posted each semester.
The clinical staff treat medical problems and they assist students with referrals to area specialists. Students are encouraged to make appointments but can be seen on a walk-in basis as well.
The Health and Wellness Center provides individual health counseling and offers innovative, prevention-oriented programs and events on diet, exercise and other health-related topics throughout the year.
All students pay a health fee, which entitles them all services provided by the Health and Wellness Center/Counseling Center.
