Faculty/Staff:

ESF has an employee assistance / wellness program that provides counseling, referral, and well-being services to employees. The NYS Employee Assistance Program is a peer assistance program jointly sponsored by labor and management. NYS EAP provides confidential information, assessment, and referral services to NYS employees, their family members and retirees. It also provides orientations and training for all employees, managers, supervisors and union representatives on benefits and use of EAP.

Students:

- ESF contracts with Syracuse University's Recreation Services (https://bewell.ese.syr.edu/), which includes gym and ice skating pavilion access and has a Vera House Campus Project Team office.
- ESF students are able to join SU student clubs.
- ESF's Mighty Oak Student Assembly sponsors Stress Free events twice a semester (chair massages, trail mix, therapy dogs, etc.).
-Fun Runs, farmers market visits, and community service opportunities (and much more) are also available to ESF students.
- ESF's Counseling Services website has a variety of information about programs available to students. (https://www.esf.edu/counseling/). This website includes student specific resources: https://www.esf.edu/counseling/resources.htm
- Counseling Services also offers a library with books about topics such as depression and anxiety, as well as massage chairs and seasonal affective disorder therapy lamps.
- Quit kits are offered to students who want to stop using tobacco products.
