Faculty/Staff:

ESF has an employee assistance or wellness program that provides counseling, referral, and well-being services to employees. The NYS Employee Assistance Program is a peer assistance program jointly sponsored by labor and management. NYS EAP provides confidential information, assessment, and referral services to NYS employees, their family members and retirees. It also provides orientations and training for all employees, managers, supervisors and union representatives on benefits and use of EAP.

Students:

- ESF contracts with Syracuse University's Recreation Services (https://bewell.ese.syr.edu/), which includes gym and ice skating pavilion access and has a Vera House Campus Project Team office.
- ESF students are able to join SU student clubs.
- ESF's Undergraduate Student Association sponsors Stress Free events twice a semester (chair massages, trail mix, therapy dogs, etc.). Fun Runs, farmers market visits, and community service opportunities (and much more) are also available to ESF students.
- ESF's Counseling office posts daily wellness information on its Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/esfcounseling/). It's website has self help videos and online assessments (https://www.esf.edu/counseling/resources.htm).
- Quit kits are offered to students who want to quit tobacco products.
- The Office of Inclusion, Diversity and Equity also offers a full schedule of ESF Against the Stigma of Mental Illness Campaign (https://www.esf.edu/calendar/event.asp?EventId=13903)
-ESF grad students host "Rise and Shine" breakfasts/chats.
