In August of 2021, Purchase implemented the SUNY print management policy with the overall goal of reducing printer paper usage to save money and aid in sustainability efforts. In the spring and summer of 2022, the campus eliminated all desktop printers and installed new executive printers, reducing the amount of printers on campus from 226 to 41. Purchase's Campus Technology Services is now in charge of purchasing copy paper for the entire campus, streamlining the process.
