The Counseling Center provides services to matriculated students and referrals for non-matriculated students who may be experiencing psychological stress. These services include emergency response and short term individual counseling, group counseling, consultations, and referrals for long term care in the area for mental health or personal needs, as well as Campus Advocacy Services, outreach, and educational programming.Services are free, voluntary, and confidential.

The Wellness Center supports a holistic and comprehensive approach to students’ health. To help this, we offer programs and services covering the different areas of wellness and health of the whole person—intellectual, environmental, vocational, social, emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual.

The Purchase College Employee Assistance Program is part of the NYS Employee Assistance Program, sponsored jointly by labor and management.The EAP mission is to provide a comprehensive worksite-based program to assist New York state employees and their families in the prevention, early intervention, and resolution of problems that may impact job performance.
