A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :
We did a thorough analysis of every course offered at Oswego from 2020-2022 and marked them appropriately as “sustainability-focused”, “sustainability inclusive” or neither. Course descriptions that matched the AASHE definition of sustainability-focused/inclusive were the primary method of determining whether or not a course counted.
Note that we are counting academic programs, including interdisciplinary programs and minors as academic departments because they are not associated with a department and have their own distinct prefixes.
