A brief description of the sustainability trainings and professional development opportunities available to staff :
SUNY Oswego regularly offers a seven week training program called "The Citizens Academy on Sustainability" to college employees and the greater Oswego community on a semester basis. Several sessions have occurred in the last two years. Also, all core campus design and construction staff including planners, designers, project managers, engineers. maintenance and operations managers, and supervisors have been trained in LEED sustainability principles.
