Does the institution make cultural competence trainings and activities available to all employees?:
A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
SUNY Oswego is an academic community, which celebrates cultural diversity and supports the dignity of all individuals. One of the college's goals is to enhance the campus community's awareness and appreciation of the diversity of cultural experiences and relationship preferences, which are represented within the population of faculty, students, and staff. The college has an obligation to protect the rights of all of its members while on the campus premises. Harassment and discrimination for reasons of race, gender, nationality, color, creed, affectional orientation, or differing abilities will not be tolerated in the campus environment. Trainings are periodically made available by Human Resources.
