A brief description of programs, policies, infrastructure investments, outreach efforts, and/or other factors that contribute to the diversion rate for construction and demolition waste:
Construction project completed in Fall of 2010 for the Village (townhouse complex) Certified LEED Gold project. Followed LEED requirements for recycling and ended up with a 42% diversion. Campus policy is to obtain LEED Gold or higher on all new construction and renovations.
