A brief description of how the institution ensures compliance with green building design and construction guidelines and policies:
Oswego’s green approach to all new construction on campus is consistent with the American College and University Presidents’ Climate Commitment, which President Stanley signed in 2007 and which pledges to reduce the college’s carbon footprint. Also, the ACUPCC requires new construction to be LEED Silver. As a campus we have been targeting LEED Gold.
