Lost Boys Books for Sudan:
In June 2010, Former “Lost Boy” Mawut Guarak teamed up with SUNY Oswego to launch a project that would provide books for students attending college at John Garang University in Bor, Sudan. Since the project started, over 15,000 books have been collected and sent to Sudan with hopes to improve the education of the students who attend the university. This project promotes global awareness, provides an economic benefit to the people of Sudan, and is a reuse of materials.
