EcoReps
A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):
In each residence hall an EcoRep is responsible for training and monitoring waste reduction activities in the building, engaging the residence in sustainability events, and updating residence on campus wide sustainability initiatives like Move In, Move Out, and others. Students in the EcoRep program maintain the building Terracycle and clothing collection bins in their building, award a Recycling Champion to a recycling room several times per semester, and lead their building in a Green Room Certification challenge. They are responsible for creating other passive (bulletin boards, flyers) and active (recycled craft events, movie screenings) programs throughout the year.
