A brief description of programs and strategies institution has implemented to ensure the code is followed, including a brief description of instances when vendor code of conduct has changed purchasing behavior within the last five years, if applicable:
The NYS Office of General Services takes vendor responsibility seriously and only awards contracts to responsive and responsible vendors. For any purchase over $100,000, the College requires vendors to complete a vendor responsibility disclosure and for smaller purchases (above $15,000) the College requires vendors to complete a vendor responsibility determination questionnaire. This questionnaire looks at the financial ability, legal capacity, integrity and past performance of a business entity. The College follows the SUNY System anti-sweatshop policy.
