An inventory of food and beverage purchases that qualify as sustainably/ethically produced:
A brief description of the methodology used to conduct the inventory, including the timeframe and how representative samples accounted for seasonal variation (if applicable):

The Office of Campus Sustainability requested an inventory of plant-based food from Sodexo's primary food supplier, Sysco, for a one-year period from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. Please note that other food suppliers to Sodexo were not counted in this evaluation due to time/capacity constraints, so the actual spend on plant-based foods may be higher than what is reported here.

The Office of Campus Sustainability then reviewed this inventory line by line to make a determination of whether each item would count as plant-based and which category the food or beverage fell into.
