Total energy consumption (electric and non-electric)

Total energy consumption, performance year:
206,491.84 MMBtu

Clean and renewable energy sources

Clean and renewable electricity

Clean and renewable electricity (report kilowatt-hours):
kWh MMBtu
Imported electricity from certified/verified clean and renewable sources (i.e., bundled green power purchases) 0 Kilowatt-hours 0 MMBtu
Electricity from on-site, clean and renewable sources (rights retained/retired) 343,644 Kilowatt-hours 1,172.51 MMBtu

A brief description of the certified/verified sources of clean and renewable electricity:
Not applicable.

A brief description of the on-site renewable electricity generating facilities/devices:
SUNY New Paltz has six on-site solar photovoltaic arrays:

100 KW roof-mounted array at Elting Gym with battery storage
117 KW roof-mounted array at the Sojourner Truth Library
48.75 KW roof-mounted array at the Athletics and Wellness Center
4.2 KW roof-mounted array at Resnick Engineering Building
2.8 KW ground-mounted array at Resnick Engineering Building
5 KW ground-mounted array powering the GEM Cars (the white golf cart-type looking vehicles that facilities staff drive around during the spring, summer, and fall)

At this time, the feeds of energy generated are only functioning for three of the six arrays. The functioning arrays include the GEM Car Array, STL Library array, and the Elting Gym array. Thus, only the generation from these three arrays is included in this credit.

Clean and renewable thermal energy

Clean and renewable thermal energy (report MMBtu):
MMBtu
Clean and renewable stationary fuels used on-site to generate thermal energy 0 MMBtu
Imported steam, hot water, and/or chilled water from certified/verified clean and renewable sources 0 MMBtu

A brief description of the clean and renewable stationary fuels:
Not applicable.

A brief description of the certified/verified sources of clean and renewable thermal energy:
Not applicable

Unbundled renewable energy products

Unbundled renewable energy products (report kWh):
kWh MMBtu
Purchased RECs, GOs, I-RECs or equivalent unbundled renewable energy products certified by a third party 0 Kilowatt-hours 0 MMBtu

A brief description of the unbundled renewable energy products:
Not applicable.

Metrics used in scoring

Total clean and renewable energy generated or purchased:
1,172.51 MMBtu

Percentage of total energy consumption from clean and renewable sources:
0.57
