The New Paltz Food Pantry is a 501c3 organization that responds to hunger on the SUNY New Paltz Campus. Food insecurity is a widely misunderstood topic on college campuses. Food insecurity is a mounting problem leading to diminished ability to concentrate on studies. The CUFBA -College and University Food Bank Association of which the SUNY New Paltz Food Pantry is a member has seen a tremendous growth in the number of food pantries serving college students.
