The Office of Sustainability conducts annual sustainability trainings for the following employees at SUNY New Paltz: * Facilities Management Staff * Sodexo staff * Resident Assistants * Orientation Leaders * Sustainability Ambassadors * Sustainability Faculty Fellows who are staff members

A brief description of any external professional development and training opportunities in sustainability that are supported by the institution(e.g. through payment, reimbursement, or subsidy):
The Office of Design and Construction staff has attended energy code trainings in recent years. The Sustainability Seed Fund supports faculty and staff members to attend sustainability professional development trainings and conferences. In recent years, the Seed Fund has supported faculty to attend the AASHE annual conference, the Sustainability Curriculum Consortium annual conference, the University of Vermont Campus Sustainability Leadership Training, and a United Nations Higher Education Initiative Summit.
