In accordance with federal laws, the college monitors the air emissions generated from the on-campus heating plant under its title V permit. The levels are well under the allowable emissions.

A brief description of the institution’s initiatives to minimize air pollutant emissions from stationary sources, including efforts made during the previous three years:

In an effort to reduce air and GHG emissions, the college switched from burning a mix of fuel oil and natural gas to just natural gas using oil only as a back up. All refrigerants are captured and recycled when changing out equipment.
