Does the committee, office and/or officer focus on students, employees, or both?:
Chief Diversity Officer - Coordinator of Basic Needs, Belonging, including DEI-B initiatives, and Title IX initiatives. There is also a DEISJ Faculty Committee, through Curriculum Committee/Faculty Senate, that identifies courses that meet the SUNY requirements for the GenEd designation for DEISJ.

Over the last year and a half, we have held a variety of trainings/educational sessions around a wide range of topics: pronoun usage, Safe Space, micro-aggression, inclusive classrooms, anti-bias confrontation. We also held a 20 person anti-racism workshop with 'A Long-Talk About an Uncomfortable Truth'; our whole University Police Department also participated in this training at a separate time.
