The SUNY Morrisville Sustainability Council role is to develop environmental, social and economic stewards and leaders through:

educational advocacy and stakeholder participation.
promote facilities management practices to improve institutional efficiencies.
reduce college-wide resource consumption.
minimize our carbon footprint.
monitoring and tracking progress.
Goals
Provide metrics to measure projected successes and shortcomings.
Work with community partners to promote sustainable practices.
Educate and culturally shift college to a sustainability mindset.
