New York State - Civil Service Law § 107, Public Officers Law § 73(17), and Public Officers Law § 74 prohibit certain political activity in the workplace. In addition, the Commission’s outside activity regulations prohibit certain outside political activities.

However, SUNY Morrisville college administration supports the use of the United Nations - UN SDG's - Sustainable Development Goals, especially to engage student learning in global sustainability practice, and thought leadership.
SUNY Morrisville hosts a student project showcase yearly (on Earth Day), in support of student projects that support these UN SDG's.
