SUNY Morrisville is a long time member of
Society of American Foresters (SAF), and is recognized as a
North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) educational provider, and hosts membership in the
Conservation Tri-Society (student organization).
Joined AASHE in October of 2023.
Numerous Morrisville students are alumni of the Future Farmers of America - FFA, a high school student organization.

SUNY Morrisville takes part in the SUNY - State University of New York, collective Sustainability Group of 64 State Colleges, which meet at least quarterly. One of our SUNY Morrisville Sustainability Council members serves as a consultant member of the SUNY-Wide Sustainability Council.

Ms. Tara Shimer serves as a consulting member of the SUNY Administration Core Sustainability Council (and also as a member of the 64-College SUNY Sustainability Group).
Dr. Jenny Frank served as a peer-reviewer for Biofuels, Bioproducts and Biorefining.
Dr. Frank, working at SUNY Morrisville, served as a Co-chair for the Next Generation Scientists for Biodiesel Program.

The State University of New York - SUNY has 64 Colleges, and the SUNY-Wide Sustainability Group is active at least quarterly, with additional ongoing sub-groups meeting intermittently. In addition all of these colleges submit yearly to a GreenNY Sustainability reporting group that provides a NY State-Wide Sustainability Report. Link to this annual report is provided below.
