A brief description of the institution’s green athletics program, including the specific initiatives selected above:
Printing operations in the Department of Athletics have reduced the amount of printing required to make a program for an athletic event. Now, printing is done on only one, double-sided sheet of card stock versus multiple sheets of paper. Additionally, programs can only be obtained by request from an attendee at an athletic event rather than being handed out to every attendee. This has reduced the amount of paper waste that results from handing out programs to everyone.
