Geneseo offers aid for low-income students comes through State and Federal sources.

Geneseo offers a New Faculty Orientation Program that includes meetings with the Director of the AOP (Access Opportunity Program, the Office of the EOP Educational Opportunity Program and TOP Transitional Opportunity Program), the Dean of Students, and faculty and staff involved in multicultural and diversity programs. The AOP Director periodically does presentations at department meetings and chair's meetings.

The college offers a five week summer program for TOP (Transitional Opportunity Program) students in order to help them transition into Geneseo.
