Does the institution have a plan to mitigate its greenhouse gas emissions that meets the criteria for this credit?:
Yes

A brief summary of the climate plan’s long-term goals:

On June 26, 2007, Geneseo signed the American College and University President’s Climate Commitment to pursue climate neutrality and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
"The ultimate goal is to achieve climate neutrality by 2050 with less than 20% of the reduction at that time through purchased, off-site carbon credits." -Geneseo CAP

SUNY Geneseo has already received widespread recognition for creating the Geneseo Public Bus Service provided by the Livingston Area Transportation Service. By serving students and the community with trips to Rochester destinations, the buses have reduced car trips to the campus. Student ridership has increased from 43,000 in 2002-03 to more than 100,000 this year.

Geneseo has also been recognized as one of the top 300 "Green" schools by the Princeton Review as it continues to strive for change on campus. With the recent submission of Geneseo's Climate Action Plan to AASHE, Geneseo now has a clear plan of how to go about this change.

A brief summary of the climate plan’s short-term goals:

"The ultimate goal is to achieve climate neutrality by 2050 with less than 20% of the reduction at that time through purchased, off-site carbon credits."
